 
What are Premium Lens Implants? Premium lens implants are advanced implants that are now available for patients needing cataract surgery. Until recently, standard ‘mono-focal’ implants were the only option which resulted in improved distance vision - yet patients still needed reading glasses or bifocals after surgery. Premium lens implants allow for improved vision correction at all distances following cataract surgery and allow greater freedom from glasses and bifocals. Four options are currently available including the multi-focal lens implants ReSTOR® and ReZoom® lenses, the advanced accommodative implant known as Crystalens®. And the new Acrysof® Toric lens implant for astigmatism.
