Good question! Not all facilities use a stationary ‘laser-on-site’…or one that is permanently housed on location. Some providers use what is termed ‘roll-on / roll-off’ lasers that are brought in on trucks just prior to doing delicate eye surgery. At Piedmont Eye Center, our lasers are permanent stationed and ‘on-premises’….meaning they are never trucked in. In fact, we house our lasers in a state-of-the-art climate controlled laser suite for added peace of mind…..come by for a visit anytime. We would be glad to show you.
