All LASIK procedures are performed by Dr. Darin K. Bowers, one of the regions most experienced LASIK surgeons. Unlike some surgeons that may lease a mobile laser unit that moves from town to town, our laser is permanently housed in our state-of-the-art climate controlled laser suite. Dr. Bowers’ experience in refractive surgery spans more than 15 years and thousands of patients. He was the first to introduce Intralase® and iLASIK™ to Lynchburg. In addition to an initial board-certification in internal medicine, Dr. Bowers maintains board-certification in ophthalmology and specializes in cataract and refractive corneal surgery.
