The Vitreous Foundation Launches AMD Awareness Campaign | 2004

The Vitreous Foundation has created a program to educate patients about the warning signs and prevention of age-related macular degeneration, also known as AMD. The official campaign launched in February 2004, which was dedicated as National AMD Awareness Month.

The Vitreous Foundation has created a patient website dedicated to this campaign, www.savingvision.org. This website offers patients a detailed interactive education session with information about the disease.
