What is your role at Piedmont Eye Center?
I am a receptionist, but I can cover many positions around the office if needed.
How long have you worked at Piedmont?
8 years with Piedmont Eye Center, but 32 years of ophthalmology experience.
What do you love most about your job?
Talking to and listening to patients.
What is one thing you wish every patient knew?
We strive to give the best care possible.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my family and friends.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?
My wonderful husband of 48 years. He would figure out how to survive.
If money was not a concern, what would you do every day if you didn’t work?
Provide meals for the sick or poor. I have always wanted to own a soup kitchen.
If you could have dinner with any one person, living or dead, who would it be?
My deceased mother.
Coke or Pepsi? Coffee or tea?
Coke and coffee. I always begin and end my day with coffee.
Do you have any words of advice to share?
Cherish each day as if it were your last. Treat others like you want to be treated. Strive to be positive. Be thankful for what you have.
