What is your role at Piedmont Eye Center?
My role here a piedmont eye center is in the medical billing and insurance office. I act as a link between Piedmont Eye Center and the insurance companies, this means I am responsible for submitting paperwork to insurance companies for the purpose of seeking reimbursement for medical procedures performed and medical visits.
How long have you worked at Piedmont?
I have been her at Piedmont Eye Center for about 3 years
What do you love most about your job?
Other than my coworkers, I really love the fact that this company wants to see its employees succeed and they have so many resources to help you.
What is one thing you wish every patient knew?
The staff here cares…and we want to help you.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy crocheting, needle point, and quilting in my down time. However, I do love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, fishing and hunting as well.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?
A mirror, I could signal for help and I can start a fire to stay warm.
If money was not a concern what would you do every day if you didn’t work?
I would open up a working ranch for the homeless and call it The Ponderosa for the Homeless. I would have it set up similar to The Homeless Garden Project in Santa Cruz, CA.
If you could have dinner with any one person, living or dead, who would it be?
I think it would be nice to have a ladies night. Get together with my sisters and make a full course meal together…have some girl talk and enjoy the moment. I think we all get caught up in our busy lives and forget to catch up with each other.
