As founder emeritus of Piedmont Eye Center, Remo Lotano, MD provided medical eye care to Central Virginia for over 30 years and before retiring in June 2007. His extensive credentials include degrees from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and Albany College of Pharmacy, as well as a rotating internship completed at Albany Medical College. Dr. Lotano completed residency training in ophthalmology at McGuires Veterans Hospital at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. His vision for Piedmont Eye Center is still at the heart of our practice to this day.
