What is your role at Piedmont Eye Center?
I am a certified ophthalmic assistant (COA).
How long have you worked at Piedmont?
I have worked 2 years at Piedmont Eye Center.
What do you love most about your job?
It is interesting seeing so many different diseases of the eye and being involved in treatment and care.
What is one thing you wish every patient knew?
If you are having a problem with your eyes, it is never good to wait, call your ophthalmologist.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy making art and playing games.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?
A pot for boiling water and cooking.
If money was not a concern what would you do every day if you didn’t work?
I would work on craft projects and relax at home with my family.
If you could have dinner with any one person, living or dead, who would it be?
I would like to have dinner with my great grandmother who passed away when I was young.

I prefer Coke and Tea.
Do you have any words of advice to share?
Never take your sight for granted, enjoy the beauty of the world as often and as long as you can.
